Job Title: Principal Engineer Service Delivery (Cloud, Kubernetes)

Location: BANGALORE      

Experience: 9-14 years

Summary: Consults with external customers and implements new IT systems and/or replaces existing systems. Develops and offers integrated, end-to-end IT solutions in targeted industry segments that support the customer’s strategic, operational and financial goals and positions Dell for rapidly growing business

Requirement Details:

• 12 to 15 Years industry experience in leading Cloud Design and Implementation
• 6+ years of industry experience in design, implementation and management of Platform as a Service(PaaS) , Docker, Kubernetes (K8s) and Pivotal Container Service (PKS).
• Good technical understanding on Virtualization, Cloud, IaaS & PaaS domain.
• Install, configure and support multiple Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environments, especially PAS and PKS
• Perform capacity, availability, issue resolution and change management processes for PCF
• Scale PCF components by forecasting needs and adding or removing components as needed
• Upgrade PCF and installed backing services
• Able to automate tasks with Python, Ruby or Shell-script
• Hands on experience with BOSH or related automation / orchestration tools
• Good knowledge of Concourse, Prometheus, ELK stack, PCC
• Experience working with SAML, Active Directory and network protocols
• Assist app developers with troubleshooting PaaS related issues as needed
• Ready to work in flexible shifts including Night shifts

Key Responsibility:

• Design, Implement & Manage Pivotal Cloud Foundary (PCF) Hybrid infrastructure, especially  Pivotal Container Service (PKS) and also Pivotal Application Service (PAS).
• Design, Implement & Manage Kubernetes (K8s) Collaborate with global team members to understand requirements and complete tasks
• Reporting task progress to management
• Documenting release notes and working with other team members to share knowledge of developed code
• Willing to work on shift timings
